Football star facing charges

Recently, it was reported that former Texas Longhorns football player and projected future NFL player T’Vondre Sweat was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. The incident happened during the overnight hours on Interstate 35 near Howard and Parmer Lane. According to police reports, Sweat was driving an SUV and was hit by another vehicle.

Reports said the collision caused Sweat to lose control of his SUV, which came to rest on its side on an I-35 service road. Reportedly, no one was injured in the accident. After speaking with Sweat, officers suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest. Authorities said Sweat was released after posting a $3,000 bond.

Legal options

Being charged with driving while intoxicated can be embarrassing and may feel like the end of the world.
