Bio

Camille M. Knight concentrates her practice in federal criminal and civil matters. She has represented individuals and companies during investigations and dispositions pre-indictment; and has also represented hundreds of individuals and companies in criminal proceedings post-indictment, through trial, to appeals and postconviction litigation.

Camille has represented clients in all types of cases; from federal white collar investigations and cases ranging from complex fraud allegations including securities fraud, bankruptcy fraud, healthcare fraud, wire fraud, and government contracting; to drug conspiracies, firearms trafficking, human trafficking and robberies.

Camille has also represented individuals in federal habeas proceedings post-conviction. Camille has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in Texas and Illinois during her 20 years of practice. She has also argued several times before the Fifth and Seventh Circuit United States Courts of Appeals.

In the civil arena, Camille has represented companies and municipalities in federal litigation involving alleged antritrust violations, trademark and trade secret misappropriation, civil rights violations, contract actions, construction litigation and products liability matters. She has also advised companies on issues including employment law, contract, trademark, securities, and oil & gas matters.

Camille began her career after attending The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. She then served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Stickney. Camille honed her criminal trial and appellate skills working at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Dallas, and her civil litigation skills while practicing at large firms in both Dallas and Chicago.

Camille is a member of the American Bar Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Federal Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, and William "Mac" Taylor Inn of Court.
