Bio

A fifth-generation Texan, Jack C. Pate's great great grandfather came to Dallas, Texas, in 1846 and voted in the first county election. Jack has continued the proud tradition of serving the residents of the metropolitan area throughout thirty years in the practice of family law. During that time, he has been an advisor and counselor to some of Texas' most prominent and influential citizens concerning their personal and financial affairs, including domestic relations litigation. Over the course of his career, he has successfully litigated countless cases throughout the country. A successful trial lawyer, Jack has primarily focused his practice on family law including suits involving custody of children and estates involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

Jack brings a practical and result-oriented approach to each case and is adept at subtlety and finesse in the making of tactical decisions throughout a case and in negotiating settlement. In situations where an amicable approach is not possible, he is an aggressive and effective trial advocate before either a jury or judge. Jack is respected by judges and opposing counsel for his experience, trial skills and ability to obtain successful results for his clients.  Additionally, Jack was named as one of Texas Monthly's "Super Lawyers" for 2003.
