Carl David Medders joined Burleson Pate & Gibson upon his graduation from Southern Methodist University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A & M University. David represents individuals in all Federal Criminal and White Collar matters including investigations, jury trials and appeals. He has years of experience with the diverse challenges of the Federal Criminal system. Carrying on a long tradition of the firm's practice, he also represents individuals in the appeal of wrongful convictions including petitions for writ of habeas corpus.

David is a member of the Federal Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the District of Columbia Bar. He is admitted to practice before the Northern, Western, Eastern Federal Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and the United States Supreme Court.
